The village of Vannovka was the first home in Kazakhstan of Interlinkʼs previous president and his family, the Knausses. While in Vannovka, they became acquainted with a very special woman who now runs a registered private orphanage and takes in abandoned and orphaned children. She moved to Russia in 2009 and the care of the children transferred to Kairat and Gulshat, a Kazakh couple who have had a heart to work with orphans for several years.  With funds raised by Interlink Kids Connection, they hope to provide the children with some of the extra items that they are unable to fund through their budget. The children attend a local school, and each child works very hard at his school lessons. Children at the Vannovka orphanage range from age four to eighteen. In the past, Interlink Kids Connection has assisted Vannovka in finishing the top floor of their home (allowing for more children). We have also purchased furniture, a large freezer, a van, sports equipment and other small appliances for the orphanage.
