| In 2002 Interlink opened the doors of its office in Taraz. The Development Center in Taraz became the headquarters of Interlink’s work with orphans and small businesses. Through the years, Interlink has shifted focus away from assisting small business and towards working with youth. We provide hope and a chance at a better life for children living in orphanages and attending technical schools through our Kids Connection and Youth Impact programs. These programs enable us to provide many services to youth, including educational assistance for a brighter future. | |
| In 2006 Interlink expanded work to the city of Shymkent. In Shymkent Interlink partners with other charity and development organizations at “The Oasis” to provide English courses, medical services, humanitarian aid, and physical therapy for children with disabilities. |
