The Kids Connection program has allowed Interlink to make significant contributions to five Kazakh orphanages. Here are a few of the things that Interlink has been able to do as a result of the program.

Savva

  • Birthday parties each month
  • Fixing the heating system allowing the building to be much warmer this year
  • Purchasing a car for them to get bread, milk, and other items the orphanage needs
  • Putting in a water tower (the old one would spring leaks regularly)

Ulan

  • Birthday parties each month
  • Playground
  • Activities with the youngest children
  • Photo albums were given to all the children
    for menʼs and womenʼs day

Vanofka

  • Remodeling (in order to allow room for 2 new children)
  • Carpet for the girls' room
  • Book case
  • New Yearʼs gifts

Rakhym

  • A new kitchen (stove, refrigerator, cabinets, ceiling)
  • English courses
  • Roller blades
  • Taking them bowling for their birthday

Saramoldaeva

  • Birthday parties each month
  • Cabinets for clothes and toys
    (made by the wood shop we donated 4 years ago)
  • Chairs and tables (made by their wood shop)
  • Desks (made by the same wood shop)
  • Computers
  • Trip to the park and picnic
