Ulan Orphanage is located in the city of Taraz. The orphanage cares for approximately 150 children ranging in age from preschool to high school age.  They attend local public schools. Ulan orphanage was opened to provide Kazkah children with the opportunity to learn more about their Kazakh culture.  The primary language of the orphanage is Kazakh. 

Delegates will spend time with the children participating in craft projects, sports time, dances, performances by the kids, and basic English lessons.  There is also some free time built into the schedule in order to allow delegates to develop relationships with individual children.
